Bernie, that is so extremely generous of them! If it pushed a few more doll quilts into the mix, so much the better! You know with all the extra fabric, we’re just likely to make more donation quilts! Just today, from Fatquartershop, I received a surprise bundle that was a forgotten pre-order: the Ombre metallic confetti from V & Co. My mind is racing with ideas for little doll quilts and other things. If only I had time to sew today, the projects I would likely begin! However, today is a day of laundry and errands. First stop..the post office to mail Amy, 5 quilts and the little sleeping bag. Thank you for your fabulous and inspirational blog hop which pushed me into a sewing frenzy these past few weeks. I am so thrilled to see so many quilters learning about A Doll Like Me and donating gorgeous quilts. What a privilege to be among such generous and talented folks!

Today wasn’t a sewing day for me either. Too much computer work to catch up on and then laundry – but it is all done. Tomorrow will be happily spent at the sewing machine! Thanks for the note Elana.

This post makes me so happy! I’m actually a little misty-eyed at this generosity. You *know* the winners of these fabrics are going to turn them right around into more charitable donations 🙂

Thanks for both asking for the fabric and sharing the awesome response from AGF.

Oh Louise, isn’t that the truth? These fabrics are sure to weave their way into more quilts for these kids. Makes me really happy!

It’s so great to hear about companies who do good work and are willing to donate to a good cause. How generous, and what fun fabric. I love Art Gallery Fabrics, and this is one more reason to love them more! Well done, Bernie, for taking the step to reach out and ask!

Very true. I almost always order my fabric based on looking at colors and patterns on-line because I live in a rural area without a lot of traffic from the fabric company reps. But to see the full line of all of these – it was impossible not to buy some!

How lovely to read of their generosity. I am ready to layer and quilt my first doll quilt and my friend, a non blogger, is making doll quilts too. You seem to have had a wonderful response Bernie.

I am not surprised. Art Gallery Fabric was incredibly generous at Quilt Con last year. They gave out so much fabric it was unbelievable. You are supporting a great cause here Bernie and I am glad so many are helping out.
