It is time for the second annual Villa Rosa Designs blog hop! When this got started last year, I was very happy to participate and this year is no different. For a little bit of background, Villa Rosa Designs is located in Grass Valley, CA. This, as you may or may not know, is where I lived for almost 30 years. The owner, Pat Fryer, is a creative force and her shop carries gorgeous fabrics. In addition, she has a HUGE number of postcard size patterns for sale. You may have seen these in your local quilt shops. They are usually patterns that come together quickly, often using pre-cuts. Having produced over 600 patterns in the history of VRD, there are many to choose from. The VRD on-line shop is wonderful! Shoppers will find patterns and fabrics, quilt kits to go with the patterns and often times a fantastic sale section (for the bargain hunters out there).
This year, the bloggers on the hop were given a set of five patterns to choose from. I chose to use the Ebb Tide pattern.
I decided to make a quilt to donate to Project Linus and had some cute fire truck fabric the build around. This pattern allows for the fabric to be seen in large blocks which is perfect for a child’s quilt.
Here is a progress shot. I had the blocks (simple squares and rectangles) cut out as well as most of the sashing. I kept the fire trucks front and center as the focal point. The two squares of yellow add a vibrant pop to the quilt!
The simplicity of this pattern meant it went together extremely fast. This allowed me time to practice some free motion quilting on it!
The loops and circles are free hand. The straight lines and angles were done using a ruler.
The backing probably took more time to piece than the top! It was great to use up lots of pieces from my stash and I really wanted to include as much of the firetruck yardage as I could. I have very little left of that fabric.
This simple pattern was fun to put together. It made a super cute child’s quilt and were it used with a cool large scale fabric it would look wonderful. For collectors of Kaffe Fassett or Anna Maria Horner fabrics, this would be an excellent choice. I could also see this pattern used for chopping up sections of a panel. So many options here!
Thank you to Villa Rosa Designs for inviting me to take part in this fun blog hop. I think VRD patterns are a lot of fun and look forward to seeing the quilts made by the others involved in the hop. Tricia, coordinator of the hop, has lined up an incredible selection of prizes! The generosity of the sponsors of this event is amazing.
To be included for prizes for the event be sure to leave an email address so we know how to contact you if you win. Registration for the prizes closes on Sunday, March 24th.
From the comments on this post, I will select names to win a prize or to be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing. One person will win a set of the blog hop pattern cards (see photo above). The other names will be sent to Villa Rosa Designs to be entered to win one of many prizes. If you would like to be entered in the drawing, please leave a comment telling me if you have ever used a Villa Rosa pattern card. Does your local quilt shop carry them? Have you shopped on their website? I would love to hear of your experience with this company. If you are an international reader, please do let me know. Some of the sponsors are able to ship internationally and some are not.
Again, enjoy the hop. Go check out the other bloggers and see which pattern(s) they have made. I plan to do the same!

Thank you Sponsors! Without you, this Blog Hop wouldn’t be possible.
Ebb Tide is one of Pats favorites (along with many more). Love the train theme and Project Linus is a great place to donate. Yellow was perfect addition.
Happy creating
Cute quilt for a child! I enjoy seeing the patterns made up in such different fabrics. One of my favorite Minnesota shops Carrie’s the VRD patterns, and I bought one last year. It helped me to see a sample made up in the shop.
I really like your backing! This gives me some great ideas about having a fun “reversible” quilt that my granddaughters will love. My LQS does not carry many VRD patterns. I have ordered several times from Villa Rosa and love them!
I have not used VRD patterns but would like to make Ebb Tide or Gypsy so I could use up pieces of fabric in my stash. I think your quilt is a great donation quilt, a little boy would enjoy it.
Your quilt is absolutely adorable! This is the first time I’ve heard about VRD and I’m so glad you introduced me! Off to check out their online shop 🙂
I just found Villa Rosa design cards, and made The Lady one this past week. It is on the quilting frame now. So easy to put together! Happy Worldwide Quilting Day!
I love your color choices. That is something I’m trying to work on. I need to brighten things up. You did a great job. I don’t yet have that VR pattern, but it is now in my list💜
What a cute, quick and easy baby quilt! Great inspiration!
Bernie your quilt is so cute! Our Ev would love it, and the recipient will too. That pop of yellow is just perfect, and the quilting looks great.
Your quilt came out great!
I have been extremely pleased with the experiences I have had with VRD. I’ve purchased patterns through their website, purchased patterns and kits through their weekly Facebook live sessions AND I even won a quilt from them through a drawing.
Yes, I have seen their patterns! We are in our Texas shop hop right now and most stores have these patterns 😻. Your fire engine quilt is too cute 🥰
I have a couple of their patterns – their new one, Gypsy, is a new favorite. Your fire engine quilt is darling!
Your quilt is going to make some little one very happy. I make many, many Linus quilts each year and Villa Rosa patterns are perfect. I’ve made several and have piles of fabric matched with patterns for many more. Thanks for participating. Love seeing other people’s visions.
I have used their patterns and have lots of them.My local quilt shop carries them.
I love easy to do quilts. Quilting is fun and very rewarding when we can donate them. They become timeless treasures.
I love how fast and easily this quilt comes together! I have never used a VRD pattern and have not seen the cards in a shop as I live in Canada.
I have many Villa Rosa patterns and have used them to make many quilts. I love to see how quilters change up the colorways for different patterns.
I really like the train theme of your quilt. I have purchased the VRD patterns while on shop hops with my mom. I sometimes make a table runner from quilt patterns. I have the pattern “Lexington” that I think I can adapt to a runner. Love the simplicity of the patterns.
I have used a few VRD patterns. My local shop carries a small selection. I love shopping their website but mostly for ideas. Huge game changer for me was visiting their booth at the Houston Quilt Festival. My daughter who is very picky chose a quilt kit for me to make for her with Tim Holtz fabrics. WOW!
Bernie—love this pattern! So many options to showcase a fun print.
I hadn’t seen Ebb Tide made yet. I love your version! I think i have some fabrics that eould be great for it, too! I own several VRD patterns but haven’t tried thrm yet. This hop is making me want to oull them out now!
Super cute Ebb Tide, Bernie!! It’s a perfect pattern for Project Linus! BTW, I visited VRD store last summer, on our way home from visiting family and thoroughly enjoyed it! What a beautiful area, too!!!
This will be a treasured quilt for a special little one. I have used VRD patterns, I’m not sure if my LQS carries them, and I have purchased from VRD. I love their quilt kits…in fact there is one I’m obsessing over right now.
Your version of Ebb Tide is sure to be a favorite child’s quilt. I like the way you used up your fabric stash for the backing!!
Cute quilt! And what a great pattern for charity sewing, going together quickly so that you can make more than one. Some child is going to be very happy with their firetruck quilt!
I love the useprecut. scraps! It’s something I need to work on. I am currently working on VRD Bohemia. I love these patterns. Always looking for ideas on how to use precuts.
I have a LOT of Villa Rosa patterns and turn to them for a quick pattern using specific cuts of fabric. Love your quilt!
Adorable quilt and I liked that you showed us the bespoke backing and quilting. Ebb Tide has been on my To Make list – very happy to see it made.
I have not used VRD cards but I like your idea of using this pattern with a panel so I just might have to try that!
I enjoy making Villa Rosa designs!
What a great baby quilt! Fast and fun.
I like your use of firetrucks!! I have some fabrics I want to feature so now I think I could use this pattern! Thank you.
This turned out to be an adorable quilt, Bernie! I agree – perfect for large scale prints. Someone is really going to love this quilt!
quick and easy quilt. I have not seen these patterns on postcards before
I have utilized many VRD patterns. Love that they are quick and easy and many use precuts. Your quilt is adorable.
I love the quilt you made and I think it is wonderful that you are donating it to Project Linus.
I have made many projects from VRD and have ordered both fabric and patterns from their website. The crew there are fantastic.
I’ve never seen VRD patterns but I’m relatively new to quilt making. Your Firetruck quilt is so cute, makes me sad I missed out on making stuff for my kids when they were that age. I’m going to have to find me some VDK patterns!
I bought the card bundle during last years blog hop but have not made one of the quilts yet. I will buy this year’s bundle too (unless I win one!) – I just love “31” and “Gypsy” and would love to make both of them!
Clever use of focus fabric in Ebb Tide; good idea for charity quilts for our guild which currently needs some quilts for young children.
All my local quilt shops carry Villa Rose patterns and they are often giveaways during shop hops, so I have quite a collection. My favorite of these five is Gypsy, but having seen your quilt, Ebb Tide is a strong runner-up :).
Your version of Ebb Tide turned out really well! What a great pattern for kids’ quilts, or for those fat quarters you don’t want to cut into little pieces. I’m slowly growing my stash of VRD patterns, and I’m seeing them in local shops. One of our newest shops usually has kits with the patterns set out on tables throughout the shop.
Very nice, Bernie! I agree, sometimes making a backing does take more time than the top! Villa Rosa has some great patterns and I love they are so quick to make! This is a great bundle!
Great quilt destined for a wonderful organization. The choice of fabrics is spot on!
To answer your question, this is the first time I’ve been aware of Villa Rosa patterns and had a great time browsing through them all. Most look easy enough for even a beginner to attempt.
Enjoying the hop!
This is a great quilt for a little one! Well Done!
Your firetruck quilt is so cute. I have a small collection of the pattern cards and have made one quilt using a VRD pattern. Many of the shops locally have at least a few of the patterns in stock and I have purchased a downloadable pattern directly from their website.
Nice firetruck quilt. I have seen the patterns, twinkle is my favorite.
Love the fire trucks. Some child will be delighted. It’s really a reversible quilt.
Hi! I love your fire truck quilt! It turned out adorable and will make one sick kiddo, very happy. I have never made anything from the post card patterns. I’m relatively new to all of this, but can’t wait to dive off in it.
That is an adorable quilt! I love that you made a pieced back, too, and funny how that can take longer. Thanks for suggesting me last year – I have always been a fan of their patterns and now receive a monthly few in my mail!
This is such a perfect pattern to showcase the fabric itself. Great choice!
I so far am only a collector of the Villa Rosa cards! So many great patterns and love the firetruck quilt that you made! I will have to get that pattern too!! 🙂
Happy NQD and Happy Hop Day! Your version of Ebb Tide is super — the quilting! and the back! Terrific all around.
My LQS always has a great selection of VR patterns, AND will get me any that I need, okay want. I have had my eye on Ebb Tide for quite some time and love what you did with it.mThe yellow is spectacular!
I do love the ease of VRD quilts and your Ebb Tide is perfect to showcase large prints. My local shop does not sell these cards, but I have bought them from the website. I have made three of them and the results are always wonderful. I love the simplicity of these quilts. (and the price is right!) Hope everyone is quilting today!!
What a pretty quilt and wonderful pattern for Project Linus. My grandson in law is a fireman . My local (30 Min away) does carry a full line of Villa Rosa Patterns and going to use them to make Quilt of Valor quillts.
A great idea for a cute child quilt. I donate kids quilts every year for the Hands2Help drive. This quilt is going in my kid quilt file.
I love all of my Villa Rosa patterns. They are like baseball cards for quilters. The website is easy to use and I find fabric that isn’t available at my local shop.
I love how you used a border stripe in Ebb Tide! Always a new way of looking at fabrics and look forward to reading more of your blog!!
I own several of the VRD Rose Cards, but have not made any of the quilts yet. Thanks for sharing your Ebb quilt.
My LQS carries Villa Rosa and introduced me to them a few years ago. I’ve made a few of the patterns with my favorite being Angel Face / another great pattern for highlighting a fabric.
Fun quilt for a child! I use the Villa Rosa cards all the time. Many of
our local quilt shops have closed, so I order directly from the Villa Rosa
website. They offer digital patterns as well as the actual cards. Their
kits are great, too. I am a big fan! Friends in my quilting bee use them as well.
We just finished a White Cloud top this week.
What a fun quilt for a child! The Villa Rosa patterns look like an easy way to use fabrics on hand.
I love your quilt!! So Fun! I have never used a Villa Rosa pattern– just recently became aware of them. I am anxious to make one!
I haven’t made this pattern yet but love what you did with it
Hi Bernie and Happy Saturday! Oh my goodness – what cute fabric you chose for your version of Ebb Tide. Those fire trucks!! I have a little boy who would adore this. Not only does that pretty yellow give off a bright pop of color but it also pulls out the yellow on those fire truck’s bumpers. The backing will be a fan favorite, too. You’ve inspired me to dig into the stash and make version of our own! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
Your fire truck quilt is darling and will be treasured. I love quilt patterns that feature large prints. Our local quilt shop, Blossom carries these patterns. I purchased two table runner patterns just need to get them moved up in the to do list! Sounds like a fun and very productive Hop!
I love Villa Rosa patterns and they are carried by all my local quilt shops. I have done Ebb Tide several times and they are so different based on the fabrics selected, yours is so fun.
Your version of Ebb Tide is super cute! That is a fun donation quilt! I have made a number of Villa Rosa Design patterns, my fav is Hillside Charm. I have ordered pattern cards online as well as purchased in quilt shops so I have quite the collection. My experience with Villa Rosa has been great.
(I live in Canada)
I had the privilege of meeting Pat, the founder of Villa Rosa Designs, at a quilt retreat. She is a lovely person, so kind and generous. Love the Villa Rosa patterns–great availability in my area. I have sewn a number of them as part of a quilt group that makes donation quilts for the local police to give to persons in crisis, as well as for a charity helping people in need to set up their households.
Bernie, you chose the perfect fabrics to bring joy into some lucky little boy’s life! I’ll bet you were smiling the whole time you put it together! I have not made a Villa Rosa pattern yet, but as I looked through their wide selection, I saw many that I’d like to make! Oh, if only I had the time! Enjoy your weekend!
What a cute boy quilt with those fabrics.
I like the way you chose to make this pattern. I have some fabric that I think would do well with the pattern. I have several of the Villa Rose patterns and really like them because I am old and don’t try complicated patterns. I like to do small and easy! Thanks so much for your participating in this blog hop. I really am looking forward to checking on it everyday.
Your version of Ebb Tide makes a fantastic child/baby quilt!!! Love the trains!
Your quilt is charming! I have made Hillside Charmer from VRD. It was a great quick quilt that I used as a gift.
What a great fabric choice for this quilt. I am sure that a little someone will enjoy this quilt for years to come.
My local shop is fairly new and is just ramping up their inventory. I’m hoping they will be carrying them soon.
A cute donation quilt! Perfect pattern for this! I have not made a Vila Rosa pattern yet… But I did buy a few to try out! I do love the Clover and Gypsy patterns! On my wish list for sure!
Love your quilt!
Love VRD cards. Love the website. Your quilt is awesome.
I am a new follower and am excited to see what you choose for colors and how the quilts will differ from the other bloggers.
Your quilt is great! A wonderful score for Project Linus!! Great Blog Hop.
I have never used a Villa Rosa pattern card, but 31 looks fun. There are no local quilt shops. I am a new follower and I just love your choice of fabric for this.
Cute quilt – and what a great pattern for those border prints.
Love this pattern for a child’s quilt!
Bernie, this are perfect fabrics for this pattern. Love it. Within all this other projects – super timing. You are finishing this. Have a great week-end.
I have two notebooks full of favorites! And yes, I have ordered from the Villa Rosa Designs website. They are quick! I have also shopped their FB lives and enjoy seeing the booth each year at the Houston Quilt Festival.
I recently discovered Villa Rosa’s live Facebook event on Friday afternoons. Needless to say, my collection of VRD cards is growing! I’m also in the Puget Sound area — Snohomish, to be exact. You’re quilt is cute; I’m planning to make quilts for Project Linus as well. Thanks for sharing!
Lovely quilt. It is so inspiring to see all the quilts made using the same pattern. I frequently visit the VR website and watch their FB live show on Fridays. I have purchased some of their patterns and am currently gathering fabrics to make the Amen table runner.
I have made one quilt with their patterns and have about 30 of their patterns and love them all.
You made a beautiful rendition of Ebb Tide! I’ve made that pattern and many others. Yes, local quilt shops carry them and also I’ve purchased online on the Villa Rosa Designs website. Great service and products with their kits!! Great company with the best service!!
I have recently ordered a set of VRD cards. I am a beginner and think I could manage these quilts and table runners. I am anxious to try them. I love your quilt using the fire truck fabric. It makes a fun, bright childs auilt.
What a darling quilt! I have not purchased from the Villa Rosa website but I have used their patterns and they are great.
I have made Blueberry Hill and Sew Charmed from VRD. Both patterns I bought at quilt shops while travelling, though my old LQS did carry them too. I have just moved from PA to NM and will be checking out my new local quilt stores very soon.
Your quilt is darling! My quilt shop carries these patterns and I have bought and made several. I have also ordered from their website. I highly recommend them. I really like the Twinkle pattern.
I love the fire truck fabric and the bright colors. Our local quilt shop has offered classes for the past two featuring Villa Rosa patterns. They were taught by Tricia – your blog hop organizer.
Your quilt turned out really cute! My quilt shop does carry the cards but I’ve been getting the monthly sets directly. Love getting them every month.
Villa Rosa is where I get my patterns from because there are so many that it is hard for the local quilt shops to carry them all. We can request and they will get them in but it is super fun to get the pattern then go in and have the ladies at the shop all chime on on color ways.
I have several Villa Rosa cards–have been wanting to try “Bride’s Dream. I also purchased one of their sale kits of fabric still to be made up–very interesting patterns!
I’ve made lots of quilts from the Villa Rosa cards, they are fantastic!! Your quilt is adorable and I love how many different approaches to these patterns. Thanks for sharing!
Such fun fabrics stitched up into a happy quilt. I LOVE the back!!! It is like having two quilts!!! Your free motion quilting looks great!
I have used many Villa Rosa pattern cards. My favorite is Pointless. It is a great school pattern. Yes my local quilt shop, Scrappy Apple carries the pattern cards and even makes up kits with them here in Winchester VA. I have never shopped at their website but will. I really like your fabric choices. The polka dots does look like Lego and the colors are perfect! Thank you for sharing!
What a darling quilt to donate to Project Linus. I have not yet used a Villa Rosa yet, but plan to do so soon. My local quilt shop carries some of the pattern cards and I have visited the Villa Rosa website a number of times. It is easy to navigate, just hard to choose which pattern to try first.
I working on the VRD pattern Lamplighter right now. Because I am close to their shop I have been to to their shop many times. Whenever I’m at a quilt shop I almost always see VRD cards.
I have made many VillaRosa quilts. I love how easy they are to put together. I love your Ebb Tide quilt. The colors are perfect.
Bernie, LOVE how your Ebb Tide turned out! The yellow was the perfect fabric to set it off. Yes, my LQSs both carry VRD cards now. Years ago, I had to go to a quilt show in Chautauqua, NY or to Quilt Market to find them. Of course, I have oodles of VRD patterns now, but not enough time to make all the ones I want to. LOL! Here’s to an AWESOME Blog Hop!
Love the bright colors you used! Beautiful!
Any child would be delighted with your quilt! I love your idea of chopping up a panel to to do this quilt too. I’ve never used a Villa Rose pattern and I haven’t seen them in my local quilt shop. But I will definitely be visiting the website! Thanks for sharing this!
I have made a Crimson Glory quilt and want to do Bohemia. love your firetrucks!
I love the patterns. I buy them from the local quilt shop and have ordered them online. I love looking at the new cards on line.
Cute kids quilt!! I am currently working on the Moonstone VRD pattern. They are sold in lots of my quilt shops nearby but I love going to the website for them!
I have used VRD patterns and pick them up when I see them.
Great idea to make this as a donation quilt. Love the fire trucks.
I’ve made one quilt from a VR pattern. It is Pumpkin Pie. I made it for my 5 year old granddaughter using mermaid themed fabric. She was so excited! My local quilt store carried the patterns. Unfortunately it closed last year☹️
I have several Villa Rosa patterns. I bought some at my local quilt shop and others online via Villa Rosa’ website. My next one to do is the Pumpkin Patch pattern.
I have made the grand prize pattern. My local quilt stores sell them, bought 1 today at the International quilt museum in Lincoln, NE. I have not bought anything on the website yet, but I am sure I will soon. This was a good pattern for a child.
I have not made any of their patterns but have one card. Ebb tide would indeed be great for Kaffe Fassetts in my special drawer.
Very cute quilt, really like your backing
I love your quilt! I own a lot of these cards and plan to get more on my next trip to Gee Gee ‘s, in Yelm. Plan to start using them this summer.
Love your quilt. No local quilt shop really but I love these patterns. They have easy to follow instructions, affordable and make great donation quilts.
I really like the Twinkle card.
These are great patterns for charity quilts. My local shop sells them which is awesome!
Wow. Great prizes. I love Villa Rose patterns. They are such fun and I love your quilt. Great selection of colours for the pattern style. Thanks for the opportunity to win. I live in Sask., Canada
So many cute ideas using the same pattern.
I like edd tide and 31. Have a panel I will use to make a 31 quilt. May use ebb tide for some fabrics I bought then didn’t use for another project.
Thanks for participating in the blog hop.
I like seeing a bright way you used Ebb Tide. We don’t have a quilt shop near where I live so I have to order online – I like seeing the ideas online but spend more than I like tryingbto get the right colors sometimes.
This pattern is great for some big print fabrics. No cutting them up in small pieces. I love the fabrics you used. Such a cheerful, fun quilt. I have used VRD patterns before and the directions are very clear. So many different designs to choose from.
I love VRD and use them often for my donation quilts. They are fast, fun and affordable. I love October Sky for quilts of valor. Presently I am using Smidge for new baby quilts for donation. My LQS does carry the cards. I also order online both physically when I buy a kit or digitally when I need it fast! I am a devoted fan!
Great job some young fella will love this quilt…I just bought Pacific Grove at my local quilt shop .I’m hopping to get on it next weekend. I sew military things for the government. So somthing pretty is much more fun .lol
hi. thanks for sharing your ‘ebb tide’. such a great pattern for personalizing for individual persons. i had fun reading through your blog. thanks for the opportunity to win a prize.
What a fun quilt. Love your fabric choices–perfect for a cheerful quilt for a little one!
I have never used a Villa Rosa pattern and I have never seen them before; my interest has been piqued now!
Ebb Tide is one of my favorites. I discovered Villa Rosa during COVID and was excited to learn it was local to me. I started participating in the Friday Evening shows back then and still do today.
I have made Villa Rosa quilts and enjoy her patterns. She has great patterns t
That use a panel.
I have not used a VRD quilt card pattern as of yet ! I am excited to try !
I haven’t used a VRD pattern before but think the Gypsy pattern would make a great baby quilt
Never used a VRD quilt card pattern before, but like the premise of using ‘cards’ for patterns and some of the designs I see. BTW: I agree about using ‘donation’ quilts as an op to practice my FMQ usually, they’re small enough to feel confident in doing that!
Love the idea of using a theme set of fabrics for Ebb Tide. I have a lot of train fabric that I could use to do this. I also like the idea of donating the quilts too.
I’m completely new to VRD, but I really like this Ebb Tide pattern 🙂
You version of Ebb Tide is so cute!!! I may have to add this one to my VRD card collection!
This is a fun adventure
Your fabric choices were perfect! It really shows the pattern so well. Great job!
Your fabric choices were perfect for Ebb Tide pattern. Great job!
Love your Ebb Tide!
Your quilt is adorable! This pattern showcases cute fabric and it looks easy to do, too! I used a Villa Rosa pattern once in conjunction with my charity quilt guild. Simple design and simple assembly is perfect for charity projects!
What an adorable quilt! And you had the perfect way to show it off with the Legos. I’m especially interested in your ruler quilting. I have a hard time grasping how that works, but your lines look great. My local shop has some postcard style patterns, but I have to confess that I do not know who they are from. Time to take a look.
This turned out very cute! I always love a more creative backing!
Gypsy Rose and Ebb Tide are 2 of my favorites! You are going to make 1 kids extra happy to see that firetruck quilt. Well done!! The Ebb Tide colors work well together. I think I’ve already commented but might not have included my email. Thanks for considering me for a prize!
[email protected]
My local quilt shop, Homespun Quilts in Astoria Oregon, does carry VRD patterns. I have purchased one which I intend to make but haven’t yet. (Can’t think of the name but it’s a sunset-type pattern.) I have other VRD patterns which I keep on hand and insert into greeting cards when I’m writing to quilty friends, especially new quilters.
Your Ebb Tide quilt is fantastic! Some child will love getting it. I have a couple of VRD patterns, but haven’t used any yet. This blog hop has inspired me to give them a try.
I have only made one Villa Rosa design before. I made the Moonstone quilt for my daughter. I bought the card from a quilt store though I can’t remember which one. I had no idea they had so many!
Your Ebb Tide quilt is adorable! I love polka dots. I haven’t made a Villa Rose pattern yet but a while ago I bought fabric and the pattern for Electron. Now I want to get it made.
Your quilt is bound to delight a child. So cute! The Ebb Tide is a great way to use large prints that I often hate to chop into pieces. And who doesn’t love a quick finish? Thanks for the inspiration.
I have never made a Villa rose pattern yet but have bought many of them. Can’t wait to pick one to start.
Ebb Tide makes such a great kids’ quilt! VR has a lot of patterns suitable for quick baby/child quilts and I love to make them!
Thanks for participating in this great blog hop! Villa Rosa patterns are great for quick projects.
I have made two VRD quilt patterns. Both were easy to make. I no longer have a local quilt shop. I have ordered off of their website.
I’ve used a few VRD patterns and even used a kit which created one of my favorite quilts to date (it’s on my bed now!).
What an adorable quilt. I love this designs and the fabrics and colors you selected. Awesome job and so very inspirational.
I have a binder of villa rosa card patterns that I purchased at my local quilt store. I have made tablerunners and quilts at our quilt store the past few years at quilt class using Villa Rosa card patterns. I have also shopped at the Villa Rosa Design store online. The store was excellent at filling my order. I got a quilt kit from them in december using a villa rosa patterns called “Happy Thoughts”.
